Great day here and since I am off figured I would move some wood around and try to make some room for all the shoulder wood i picked up.

Moved all the red oak i plan on using this year under cover (from being covered). Sounds and feels nice and dry.

All the bark slid right off most of these pieces so I was wondering any good uses for it?? Besides burning it.

When I get a good sized ammount of bark, a buddy of mine comes over and gets it. He runs it through his chipper shredder to layer in a compost pile. He says it works great. It's a win, win!
I'm curious to see what other replies you get. I've noticed some really inventive people around here on FHC!:D They will have some good uses I'd bet.

I use it whole around grapes and stuff to keep the weeds down.

Bark works well in the woods in wet spots where you want to walk or use atv. Sometimes it also can be used to hold moisture in the ground just by laying it down with the bark side up.
