These guys work? Oh wait, here we go! Edit: Okay, never mind these guys ^^^ Chipmunk KILLAH right here!
No kiddin! Chippys would be nuttin left but a lil puff o fur! Need to see if I can borrow that cat for a day or two. Heck, he very well may solve the groundhawg problem under my wood stacks too!
Or put some sunflower seeds out and leave the 10/22 sit loaded by the window. We rarely see them when we're outside. The wife calls the spare bedroom window my "sniper's nest".
Not sure if it is this video or not, but I seen one a couple years ago where the squirrel liked the ride, kept coming back for more!
Once, when our son and his wife came to visit, he said to my wife in a concerned voice the first morning, "mom, there are .22 shell casings on the bedroom floor". She said, "oh that's just from your dad shooting squirrels".
I'm having a heck of a time getting the chipmunk that has taken up residence. He won't sit still for a second and is really hard to get a bead on. Next time, I'm using turkey shot in the 12 gauge.
Yeah, not having much luck here either. So far I have tried peanut butter, peanuts, raisins, and mulberrys. No dice. I think there is just so much food available for them right now that there is just no reason to risk going into that lil metal box. I haven't tried lead poisoning yet, probably won't. I really don't have the time to sit around and wait on em to pop out and really doubt I could hit the spastic varmints with a 9mm anyways
I've been trying sunflower seeds in my small trap, but have only been catching mourning doves. I have an apple in the trap now, with bricks on top to hold it down. I'll get him one way or another. He's definitely the most cunning chipmunk I've encountered and a worthy adversary, I must say.
