You check her paw for thorns?
Billy Bob was doing the three legged hop the other day and he had a sticker in his paw

Good thought. But this happened sometime in Saturday while we were away in the house. The kid came home to her basically doing the splits and not able to get her rear end up in the afternoon. But after yesterday mid day she seems to be doing a bit better...

hey man, chin up, first a joke " that's wrong, RONG, so darn wrong you can't even spell it right"

Next true story, 10 years ago I met a woman thru a friend she was sad single mom with 3 young boys, I kind of was me, helped out watched kids played with them. I got a knight on white horse complex, she and kids moved in before became homeless. lived with me for few years only bills she had to pay was her cell and food.. (I mean that's cheap except she had 3 boys 8,10 and 12..)

4 years later my mom was diagnosed with cancer stage 4 so I moved into parents house to help out came home once a week to pay bills repack clothes. until mom passed.. I had built some condos and sold them paid off all bills. 8 months later, she had 50,000 in credit card debt in my name, had changed the card bills to go to her email, put 30,000 on house equity line that I could not remove over 60 days old.. and taken all profit out of safe. So short of it she was lying, stealing and cheating.

Obviously I kicked her out.. filed charges etc., so my retire early plan is shot, been living on the edge for a few years now. she left her kids and the state. 7 years later, I am happily married, got a beautiful daughter. and her son's who call me uncle are all doing well 1 just deployed overseas.

In fact when my wife decided to marry me I sent her a thank you note for screwing up my life because if she hadn't I would still be in that horrible unhappy relationship, I guess I'm loyal to a fault.

I said all that to say this. there are different aspects of live relationship, financial, spiritual, health etc. focus on good parts job or what keeps you going.. and learn who you are.. meaning why are you attracted to this type person, when you change yourself the right one will come along..
til then work on you and keep chatting.. good luck..
synopsis if your going thru hell, don't stop to camp!

Chocolate lab .... She's got inflammation in the last couple spinal block were they are fusing together. She's just getting old. But scared the heck out of us. Thought we were going to loose her. But my friend works at the vet place and had me start on high doses of pain killers and inflammatory meds.... Which she seemed to respond to it...

How old is she? IME rimadyl works wonders on older dogs with "old bones".

There are plenty of fish in the pond, just have to fish for them;)
Moping around feeling sorry for yourself isn't a good starting point - she's gone, I've lost a few that were marriage material but ended up with a soulmate and for that I am eternally happy

Like I said before, everything happens for a reason. We may not understand why @ the time, but eventually it all spells out. Meanwhile, keep on truckin' Brother, there is a whole new world out there to be seen.............................:thumbs::thumbs:

Takes guts to admit all that man. Glad things are better for you!

Went through some parallel things ( but not to your level ) and completely agree about working on yourself first so you can find that right person to be with in your life and marriage.

The man I married was very different from my boyfriends before him. Best decision I ever made..... I think this happened because I had recently worked through some tough stuff......

Yes, the vet put her on that back in October time frame. She's 11 going on 12 in Sept. Yes its expensive but its worth it from how she has responded to the meds.

Kudos to the Township Grader Operator................went down to put the recycling @ the end of the driveway. Watching a red squirrel having a buffet in the middle of the road. Here comes the twp. grader hummin right along. Does he stop or does he squash?........................He hammers the binders, stops the grader and RED gets to live another day. I know, it's only a squirrel, but credit to the guy for @ least having some class.................................

Wife is sick as a dog. Kids will be soon enough. I refuse to get it.
