Time for a night out for a Christmas Party! Off the next two days, will cut some wood tomorrow!

 

Mixing up some burger buns, going to have hotdog burgers.

What are hot dog burgers?

 

Buns are raising.

Mix minced hot dogs with hamburgers, maybe some onions. Best of both worlds!

Really, I am just seeing if it will be a feasible way to stretch the meat budget when all the kids are here.

 

Oh, I hear you. I don't know how families get by now a days. It's just my wife and I now and the grocery bill is still quite high.

 

Well, we cut the cable, burn wood, bake all our own breads, and do lots of other stuff I can't even think of now because it has just become normal.

 

Gardens, hunting, fishing, canning, maybe even some trapping, raising animals, and so forth.

Some of us still do that.

 

Yeah, gardens, fishing, canning that's stuff we do. Wood fired cooking!

 

Baking from scratch, brewing, sewing, doing all of our home maintenance, scrounging, reusing, and so forth.

 

Dog burger.

 

Well, how are they?

 

I guess we are supposed to be setting the cupola in the picture today. 3-5" today coming. Should be interesting on a 12:12 roof.
