This 268xp has been under the bench for months, so it's time to get it back together and make it a runner. Just found all the parts.

1991 model, no SE, and it has the original Mahle closed port cylinder.

Anyone ever power wash a rug? This is an outdoor rug that was on our pool deck that was a bit mildewed.

I used to work at a marina and would power wash the carpet in the rental pontoon boats...worked like a charm, getting out mildew and spilled beer!

Just starting to turn the wrench on my X720 and hopefully get rid of Casper. I think (hoping) it's the fuel pump that's been messing with for a year and half...

Well it's not the fuel pump, I think... Now back to ground zero.

After a few head scratch and bouncing a few ideals off of smarter individual than I... I think (fingers crossed) I finally located it. It follows the whole concept of blowing relays and my fuel pump not working. A single connection in the wiring harness was loose and bouncing around...:headbang:... But hopefully thats it...

Finished the headboard I promised my daughter 6 months ago. Too cheap to buy nice wood so just cleaned up some KD 2x6".

With the passing rain storms I snuck out to cut up the tops from 2 small trees I dropped yesterday. Both were small diameter fence busters so I mostly just wanted them gone. My village comes around on Mondays and will chip any "pruning" waste you leave at the curb so I hauled several bunches of small stuff to the street for them to take off for me. I just used a nice sized lopper to cut any branches under about an inch in diameter and tied the bunches together to sling over my shoulder. I say tied but I really just have a rope with a loop in the end. I lay it on the ground and pile brush on it. When it is a size I am willing to lift, I cinch it up tight and sling it over my shoulder for ease of moving it. It saved me lots of trips to the curb side. They will not take anything over 8 feet long so sometimes I had to lop a branch in half to leave it there at the curb. The particular fence busters this week were a couple of wild black cherries about 6 inches in diameter. The main trunk and larger branches went to my growing wood stash. In future weeks I still need to deal with an 8 inch mulberry and a wild black cherry about that same 8 inch diameter. Darned birds crapping seeds while sitting on my fence.

Lucked out and missed some rains, so it was ready to Tedder last night.

Yeah the tractor is a little overkill, but it has AC, my little guy was able to ride with me, and the Ford needs some clutch work... plus it really make the neighbors look when they go by!

Its been so wet here that a lot of fields haven't been cut for the first time yet. The hay field across the road has standing water in some places.
