I went out on the lake today with my boat. We got off the lake at 7:15pm. So, a solid 9 hours on the boat, drank beers. Bs'd with my friends, took few runs on the slalom ski behind the nautique, and pulled my buddy for some slalom fun too.

I'm bringing the wakeboard next time. Slalom skiing tires me out.

I used to knee board. I was better than the "pros" at the water ski show up north for a while. I'd even unstrap and stand on it for a few thousand feet. It's hell on your knees.

I need to buy a wake skate though. I haven't done that in a while. Those are good clean fun. No bindings, basically skateboarding behind a boat.

Coffee now. Then going to strap on the muck boots (might need a boat to get to get across the creek) and hit the gun range. I need some trigger therapy. I see some mag dumps in future. :rootintootin:

Had a fire outside last night, with a couple of rum and cokes. Sugar maple and ash uglies and sticks. IMG_20150628_240234833.jpg

I'm up and getting ready to split the rest of my rounds up. Mtn dew to wake up, and some cereal.

We watched 2 pre fourth of July festivals fireworks from our patio and fire. Grafton and Mequon both had big displays. We only got to see a bit of them due to our trees, but it's still pretty fun.

Man... I got some powerful inspiration......... I sat in my comfy chair in the open side door toward the woodshed, Giz beside me, and listened to the rain blasting down on all of the leaves while talking to my buddy on the phone... Perfect. :D

Woke up to a perfect day weatherwise. Gonna be hot for here. I think we are in for a 7 - 10 stretch of sun and more sun. Saw a cruise ship headed up north this morning. All the cruisers moored in the harbour are heading out. Doesn't get much better than this. Yesterday there was hardly any wind in the afternoon. we'll see what happens today. Got bookkeeping, sewing and shopping to do today. Campinspecter has two loads of laundry out on the line and another one to go. Now he is washing vehicles before it gets too hot and dry. Oh and 4 more days of work until holidays!!!

We just started the sleds for the first time since the season ended, we'll be doing every two weeks.

I pretty much took June off from the woods so come July I'll be starting back up with some stacking and once the water levels head back down, we'll do some boating.

Before the end of July we'll top cover the wood for this coming heating season.

Woodwidow, that sounds really nice. It is 55 degrees here, northeast wind off the ocean, sideways rain. Plain miserable. Chicken stew is cooking to chase the chill away.
