    Who you callin old? That's a '95, not a '60-'80s style, ya youngin':rofl: :lol::thumbs:
    70's to mid 80's is my pick for a Ford in terms of body style.
    Nonetheless, you got a deal Steven Stern:yes:
    Happy for you, man!

    Those are solid trucks. The 5.0 is as good as a motor as you'll ever find. The tranny should be an a40d, unless it's a stick. 8.8" rear end is bulletproof too.

    My dad had a 96 just like that same color even, and he also has a 95 4.9 i6 stick 150. I drove the 95 out to Utah and back with him.

    Nice find!

    1.5 cords in a mid-90s half ton pickup? Crazy is correct sir. 1.5 cords of green wood can approach triple the typical load rating for that truck.

    I don't remember how much this load stacked out to be but I would guess it to be around 1 cord. It's black cherry which isn't the heaviest and that's a 1-ton truck sitting low. I have had similar loads on it, a couple were red oak which should have put me between 4-5000lbs of payload. Stopping it gets interesting at that point.

    Most excellent! :rootintootin::banana:I don't know how much you can reasonably fit into it, but you'll soon figure it out.
