Michiganer's, heard from Dennis

Last Monday night was interesting. I had just drifted off to sleep when a nurse came running in and unhooking things. Told me I had to be wheeled into the hallway because of tornadoes in the area. Turned out to be nothing but a few did touch down in other areas. One I got word of so I called a friend who lives not far from where they said it was. It touched down about 3 miles from him but he is fine.

I asked my wife the next day and she wasn't even aware of anything happening. But then, I know she was up at 11:00 Sunday night and the alarm went off at 3:00 so we could get to the hospital in time. She never left the hospital until after 5:00 that evening. Said she went right to bed and didn't even hear any thunder. But then we found out from others that most places the weather forecasters on TV were really building this thing up but it hit in only a couple spots; not the whole state as they would have you believe. The radar did look bad but it was not much so all is well. Wife said she didn't see any limbs down all the way in nor did she even see any leafs down. A bit todo about nothing.
