With the storm we had my phone has been blowing up with tree removal jobs. Really needed a dump trailer anyways and the work I have lined up is paying enough to cover a trailer so I went ahead and bought one yesterday. My wife drove out to pick it up yesterday while we were working on some of the removals.

Ended up getting a Griffin 12' 12k dump. Really liking it so far and I am putting it to good use today. Currently wating on the rain to quit so I can get back to chipping the brush.

That'll get used often I bet.

Your wife can drive a truck and trailer... mine can back into walls with her van. :headbang:

Nice trailer Sean. Got any action pics of it dumping loads? You'll be glad you bought it every time you use it.

I'll be interested in hearing how that Griffin works out for you. I have a guy locally that sells them and have been considering a 6x10 10k model.

If you don't mind, what led you to buy a Griffin?

Here's a few from working today. Did four loads of chips, would have gone faster but the only chipper available today was a 6" so the chipping was a little slow. Trailer did great though!

I really needed one for work then after the tornado hit I got enough extra work that it paid for the trailer. I had been wanting to buy one for a long time and the extra work paying for the trailer made the decision really easy. And I can write it off as a business expense so that's another bonus.

Swags what exactly do you do? I was thinking g you were a home builder or remodeler? Least from the context I have read in your texts. I am probably wrong.

But here it sounds like you do tree work? Maybe you do dirt work etc and this is just an extention of that work? If you are a tree guy do you do technical removals...like over houses , decks, pools, dead trees etc?

I flip houses, (buy, remodel, sell) tree work is just extra money. I had the opportunity to add in extra work so I took the week off working on houses to add in the tree work.

Nice trailer. Nothing like having good equipment to get a job done quickly with professional results.
    A worth while investment.
