Don't just let this go, Hold them accountable to get to the issue. You want find out about problems early on and not allow them to fester into major issues with limited outcomes. An abdominal CT scan seems in order.

Fuzzy Buddy loves the pool, put him in a float with mesh bottom. Normally I set him on the first pool step and he chills this allowed him to be closer to me.

I put a little turtle ~4" off in the woods after probably stepping on it multiple times today as well(said to myself that isn't a rock). Not a snapper just a standard box turtle around here

Wash your hands really good if you handle turtles. They carry Salmonella on their skin. They don't get symptomatic from it, but the disease is easily caught from handling them. People infected withSalmonellamay have diarrhea, fever, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and headache. Symptoms usually appear 6 to 72 hours after contact with the bacteria and last about 2 to 7 days. Most people recover without treatment, but some get so sick that they need to be treated in a hospital. http://www.fda.gov/ForConsumers/ConsumerUpdates/ucm048151.htm

Good that you put it back into the water where it becomes a non issue for the dogs. I think my dogs would want to play with it until they paid the price of getting bit.

The perils of being a hound dog led around by your nose.

Jackson got stung/bit by some unknown creature, on the left side of his face, not really sure how many times. He came in and I noticed the left side of his face was a bit swollen. In the span of about five minutes the swelling had encompassed his whole head to the point his eyes were swollen shut and all of his wrinkles were gone. Then he developed thousands of welts/hives all over his body. I gave him a big dose of benadryl and called the emergency after hours vet. It took about 15 minutes before I was actually talking to a vet, who confirmed the benadryl was the right thing to do. They wanted me to get him in the car and head their way in case he started having trouble breathing, but by that time it looked like the reaction had peaked, the hives had started to subside and he was calm and not having any trouble breathing so I decided to sit tight.

anybody know if there is such a thing as an epi pen for dogs?

this is last night shortly after he got stung
