Big white pine

    Ended up cutting down a very large white pine today. It was over 40" at the base. I got it cut up and then was going to noodle the big rounds, but there was a yellow jacket nest in the tree. Good thing I didn't get stung.

    The 066 guzzled through about a gallon of gas cutting this thing up.

    That's a big one.. Nasty looking too! Glad you didn't get stung - that's the worst..lol..

    Definitely needed to taken down. Glad it all ended safely and no stings....gotta love the power of the big boy saws...:saw:

    thats a big nasty looking pine! what size B&C are on your 066? Looks like you did a real nice job cutting though it, post more pics when you noodle/split that monster, after the bees go away that is

    That's a big mofo dar man.
    Glad you avoided the bee's, I did not one time, got stung about 40 times, had trouble breathing for a little bit, SCARY chit

    Sorry guys I guess I fell asleep on the couch around 8.

    I have a 28" bar on the 066. Had a heck of a time with the sap. It was a sappy tree. I had to cut it from both sides and roll it over with a tractor.


    Had a similar run in with yellow jackets while weedeating. They wore me out and I got the chills and was sick.
