We had a confirmed tornado on Thursday night. Scary stuff, and there is trees and power down all over the place. It's crazy driving around. You can see the very distinct path of the storm. It's abline right through town. I spent most of Friday cleaning up trees and dropping damaged ones. Luckily my home was all good, but lost a tree at our house we are renovating and hit the neighbors house. Not too much damage there though.

Ended up getting a lot of removal work out of the storm too.

Here's a few pictures of some of the damage.

That is really scary - glad your house is okay though. It's unbelievable the damage that those storms can do.

A few more pictures, this tornado went right through Jred85 backyard. His street and the next north were hit the worst.

Yea, I got 6 BIG trees to remove this week. 2 cotton wood, 1 beech, and 3 silver maple. All of them are 3-5' diameter trees. Gonna be brining in the big equipment for that removal.

Not sure what I'm doing with the cottonwood yet. Not sure if I want to try to process it or just dump it. If I process it the wood will just be used for selling as campfire wood.

Wow, I am glad you are OK. The power of wind can never be understated. Once was in a building that had the roof lifted off. very scary.

Glad you are all ok! The baby had petered out by the time it made it to me east of you. Another one from that storm touched down a bit NE of me. We do get them occasionally here in NE Ohio!

The Ohio guys probably remember May 31, 1985. That was one of my first lasting memories from when I was a kid growing up near Erie.

I worked about a mile south of Wheatland back in 04 - 08 where the f5 passed through and there were still just vacant slabs and fields where large buildings once were..

Very very glad it was nothing like that..
