    It's hard not to like a 1911. My dad has a very nice custom Kimber 45 that I'm sure to inherit some day.

    That's no 1911. The slide is inside the frame, and the slide release looks like a cz75. But the safety and trigger guard is different.

    I give up, what are we looking at?

    That gun is photo shopped. It has vinyl floor grip panels. Unless it's Spanish in origin, they do that.
    Now, the last gun was cool. Just not as big as this one.
    This one is big.
    Looks almost like a modernized version of an earlier gun.
    edit- probably Spanish.
