    I used to grab whatever mulberry I found, but now I tend to only take straight easily split pieces.
    Now find me some Orange Osage and its a different story.

    It's mulberry. The leaves aren't always lobed. Enjoy the fireworks.

    I cut about 1/2 cord of this up a couple weeks ago-- 100% mulberry. I put it in my 2019 pile.

    female has fruit
    male tree has no fruit
    I have male mulberry firewood

    That Mulberry is real good wood! Around me it grows mainly in farmers fence rows. As stated above, they typically don't have much use for it either! The only problem with it is that it does grow in fence rows. Whether you see it or not, there is probably some barbed wire and/or nails in it. No good on the saw chains, but really good for BTU's!
