I Have a Log Splitter...

    Saw this on CL, guy was asking $75, said it was not working.
    Got it for $65, figured I could fix it.
    Turns out one of the two handles was broken off, that's all that was wrong.
    Cleaned it up, changed the oil and a little TLC and it was running OK.
    Added a few mods, connected the two hand levers so it would work with one lever,
    added a sheet metal screw on the pusher to grip the end of the log, added a piece of
    2 x4 behind the pusher to shorten the stroke.
    It works really well, split a bunch of maple I had waiting to be processed.

    I always used a block behind the pusher too.
    Beats splittin by hand IMO
    Ya got it up off the ground with a back table , your all set :axe::axe:

    Great buy. Yeah, I would pull the trigger on that too. $65 was a "no brainer" . Good for you.

    I ran a Ryobi 4 ton for many years it split just about everything I threw at it... Good find it will serve you well!

    We have been searching for a cheap one for our basement. To split the occasional large split down.
