Anyone else set their alarm to wake in the middle of the night for stove duty?

Would the Mansfield work for you? The new design is pretty nice. Sell both Heritage stoves and pick up a Mansfield?

At 27 degrees, I would be willing to let temps die down a little. At 10 degrees, things are a little more serious.

Tonight we are going down to 11° and 6° by Thursday night. I'm sure I'll be packing the stove tight, and checking a couple times during the overnight.

I work a mid shift so by the time I get home it is 1:30AM just the right time to reload after my wife goes to bed.

I remember those days of getting up in the middle of the night to stuff more wood in the stove. Probably the 2nd biggest reason I got the pellet stove, First was having steady heat for my new born son. Wood eater is still used. But only for power outages and when I feel the need to conserve pellets.

12 degrees last night. Loaded insert at 2200 full of oak. Woke up at 0600 house was at 68 degrees with insert temp close to 300

Might have to reload if it goes down to single digits at night
