    Not the largest score in the world but it's BTU's It smells like red oak.

    I wonder if white oak has a different odor to it? I never really noticed and I like to sniff my splits :D
    Are those oak plots dry enough to use this coming season?

    White oak is indeed much different than red oak. In fact, many hate the smell of red oak wood but love the white oak.

    Yes, they say it smells like vanilla.... Plus could you imagine the taste of whiskey or bourbon after sitting on red oak....

    I go through like a cord and a half +-

    I go through like a cord and half + - last winter was brutal so this next one hopefully not so much. We WILL be ready this season though.
