Dropped these 2 dead ash this morning, good solid wood. Couldn't get it all in the 5×10 trailer and kubota. I'll go back tomorrow and finish. ☺
    Split and stacked!

Finished splitting the sugarwood as well. Notice nice and small splits .

Should have waited until the afternoon . It was humid and pretty warm with no breeze but by 4pm it was light jacket weather. Strong northeast wind and temps in low 60's.

It's dry and it will burn this fall if I needed it but I'll give it a year or 2 anyways. Feels good to have replenished what I burned last year plus some !

Almost forgot , I'm saving these for the lovely Judy, word on the street is Backwoods Savage hides them from her and she insist on burning those wedges . Lol

    Good-lookin Stacks there man.
I gave it an honest try yesterday,, splitting everything the Backwoods Savage way, everything was fine until my hip started hurting, then I had to go horizontal.
If it wasn't for that I would be doing it all of the time that way.
Maybe I have the wrong kind of milk crate:)

    Live from the woods !!!!!!

Mostly all barkless as well. Next up is a couple loads of dead standing shagbark hickory. This ash is getting boring again. :(

btw, why is the wood stacked outside the coop? Got it full inside already?

That surely is some sweet wood and some great stuff to cut. Maybe we can get together next week.
