It was a mustang II. So inherently not a cool one. IIRC it was a cobra model, but those ones even with a 302 in them were so choked down by emissions, that they performed like 4 cylinders. I think they were like 150 HP.

The mustang II is much maligned, but at least there was still a mustang at that time.

It's the original pony car, and the only one that's been in constant production since it came out in 1964. Gm killed the firebird, and the camaro, only to kill off Pontiac. And gm only brought the camaro back after 8 years.
The challenger, well, it was gone so many years, nobody thought it would come back.

If it was me, I'd half-notch the ends and mount them on top of the posts.

Sitting in my hotel room in Glendive, MT waiting for the RR to call me to go to work. Thinking of all the things I could be doing at home/farm right now. Thank goodness this place has WiFi that works! Been reading FHC posts and watching Obadiah's YouTube videos all morning.

I dropped my husband off at the mechanic to pick up the old blazer, we gave up on the auto lock hubs and had manual ones put in. I was driving behind him, first turn he took, there goes a hub, bouncing across the highway, it did infact fall off........

I like this better. I worked my butt off getting those logs off! LOFL! I ended up stealing the lowest third rail(one at ground level) off my fence at house. Never liked the lowest rail anyway. This looks much better than those logs.

From an outsiders perspective, I think both look nice. I would do what's easiest....

Two separate brake job stories on different vehicles and why I will always do them myself in the future.

1st on my Olds Cutlass took it to a shop after I'd started my first real career job, it needed struts and I wasn't nor did I have time to do them. The rotors and pads had seen enough Maine winters to need replacement so I had them done at the same time. Told the guy it had the larger rotors specifically. After I drove it home that evening I noticed the outer rim of the rotor had a wear mark, idiots put a smaller rotor on the fronts. A month later the rear parking brake caliper failed, idiots had tried to compress the caliper which needed to be turned in as they slowly turn out eat time the brake was set.

2nd different shop newer Caddy STS, I was flying all over the place and lived in an apartment no time to do front brake pads
I drove it from the shop to airport and when driving home 2 weeks later I heard something ding out under the car on 95 through Richmond in heavy traffic.
The first time I stopped I heard a grinding, pulled it right back into the shop and fortunately the manager was there on a Saturday - the knuckleheads they hire never torqued the caliper guide bolts, they were somewhere on I-95.

As long as your brakes don't break you'll be fine. ;)

When I do brakes, I'll only do one set at a time. Fronts or backs. One benefit is that if there's any vibration or anything odd, you can narrow it down easier.

This weekend I've got some bike work to do. The temp creeps up faster than normal at stops. The fan kicks in fine, and that gets it back to normal, but I think the impeller on the water pump may need to be replaced again.

That or it needs new antifreeze.

I took off the radiator cap expecting the level to be low, but it wasn't.

I'll change the antifreeze first, maybe just try straight RODI water, and see how that works.

The antifreeze is not as fresh as it should be, so maybe that's it? The BMC race air filter needs a cleaning and re oiling too, it's basically an Italian version of a k&n, just better.

The bike could use a really good bath and wax too, as I have only used the quick detailer on it this year so far.

I'm taking the bike to work tomorrow and Thursday, maybe Friday too, but we will see.
