I doubt I will be having one in October. As much as we would love to do this 3 or 4 times a year, it's a lot of work and time involved (more so for my wife).

I would love to have a yearly one in May. And next year someone remind me to take a pic. I loved the pic of the 1st annual FHC GTG last year. It's a great idea and captures that moment in time.

Deweys son Garret is a very nice young man. I believe he is the youngster you speak of Dennis. He took all the kids under his wing and spoke to Judy for quite some time in the house.

Oh man, did I ever get "the look" when I told my wife that I didn't get a piece of her PB pie! I told her, "Honey I've eaten some or all of every PB you've made for the past 5+ years! And I wanted everyone at the GTG to enjoy Virginia's finest PB pie, anyway!" She agreed- y'all needed them pies:thumbs:!
Hate that the temps have dropped there in Ohio, DexterDay, it's still in the 70's here even after some storms today...

Back home to the cornfields of Illinois. It's wet here but we didn't get nearly the rain as out there!! We drove in rain all morning.

Yeah Garrett very much enjoyed the time he spent with Judy. :D We, as parents, appreciate the nice comments we received about his manners and behavior. Yanno, every once in a while those kids actually act and behave like they was raised to.

We all had a blast. The wife was amazed how we all acted like we knew each other. All I could do is laugh and tell her "we do...kinda".

Special thanks to Kenis and the Mrs for all of the work and hospitality. And to think that wonderful woman not only puts up with our DexterDay, she enjoys feeding all of us heathens too!!! What a saint!!! I hope we all get to do it again and more will join us.

Thanks buddy. Wish we could have talked more. I feel like at these GTGs I have 10 hours of catching up to do with friends, and only a few hours to do it. You have a nice truck and a nice family, hope you can make it out every year.

She really enjoys it. I can't imagine my life without her.

And she loves all of you.. The one thing she wishes she could do, is to talk to more of you. But the preparation of meals takes awhile.

We look forward to the next one. It really was a great time. I can't thank those enough that made the long trip. My hat is off to all of you. So many traveled from out of state.
