From Idaho Springs to the Divide. Westbound won't be so bad, just some slow spots. Eastbound is a different story. They're adding a third lane from Empire Junction to the twin bores E. of I.S. New overpasses, new off ramps, etc. East bound is where the longest delay potential is.

4 cords on the pallets for the 17/18 season. One more cord will set me up to have enough. I burned just less than 5 this year in the new IS.

Worked today, then cut grass at camp. First my son was cutting with me, then my daughter took her turn. They are 11y.o. One of them drives the zero turn and I drive the regular rider. We can cover a lot of grass following each other. The zero turn is 50" and the tractor is 46". So if we are lined up good we can cut a 8' swath. Makes for some quick mowing! Glad I have them helping and they like to mow the grass. Between the house and the camp I am mowing somewhere between 5-7 acres, I guess. Each year I will be adding a little more on while finishing a few areas off and adding trails through the woods which will need to be cut. The trails will be cut with the tractor and 60" brush hog.

Its not suppose to be this cold in May lol! Last few days my house has been colder than many days in winter with the living room thermo showing into the 50's the last few days! Would have had a fire except that my insert is pulled and the pellet stove was limping through the last few days of the season nearly chocking itself out (and I haven't done the deep clean yet). So, space heater in the bedroom. On the bright side my electric bill was at an all time low the last 2 months despite last year was nearly an all time high for the same two months!

Mulching the beds this morning. Gonna mow the front yard after that and maybe I'll get on the bike this afternoon.
It was 45 here this morning with a slight breeze. Calling for 72 this afternoon, lets hope the weather girl is right.
