I moved 3 New York face cord starting at 7 this morning, the majority of the wood was from a load of logs I bought in February 2010, some very nice Beech,Ash,Sugar Maple,Cherry and some Soft Maple.

I didn't take any pictures (batteries were dead) so I'll get a pic tomorrow of the stacking and the empty area.

I was done around 12:15 just in time for lunch, after that I took a load of bark back to put on the trail.

If the weather is good on Sunday, I'll be hauling out the Sugar Maple and that Beech.

Seeing stacks getting done is very motivating. Typically this time of year, I'd not even think about making firewood. Yesterday I brought more wood in from the woods, split and hauled primo zero degree weather wood, and today I'll stack it.

Oh yeah, the load of morels I found were a bonus! We'll have crab morel risotto tonight. Yummmmmmm!

    Thanks FHC!!!!

This is the good hardwood I moved yesterday, it's been stacked since 2010. Most of this is Beech with some Ash,Sugar Maple and some Red Maple.
