Moved the rest to the basement today over 1-1/2 cord 14/15 wood ready for 15/16 & a few fires thru Spring/Summer
Always good to have this years wood left for next year......must be that global warming moving in on you. Don't tell Welder Dave I said that he'll get started again....LOL
Yea Was a mild winter & I had 8 cord for 14/15 so having 1-1/2 ± left is good. Means I have near 9 cord for 15/16. This 3 year plan, with a little cushion for each year, is working out well. In a few years & it'll be a 4 year plan Will be moving 2 or 3 cord into the shed after the garden is all in. Aug move the rest in. Have 8 ready to go, but only CSS'd for 6 months. This is the tallest section so it holds more.
Nice work dave! Kind of a strange feeling lookin at an empty shed aint it? It's nice knowing all your hard work kept you warm this winter but you know how much work is ahead to get it full again
Looking good Dave. I agree with you on the 3 yr plan, it's a great system. Peace of mind with some flexibility
Well there's always a want/need for a newer lighter weight bike. Couple , 3 years of saving up, you never know LOL Luckily there's no state sales tax or fees , so the permit is just $10/cord. Can't say that for propane, NG & heating fuel. Some kinda fee/s &/or tax/s, We even have some fees on the electric bill. yea, gotta get a row or 2 in there soon. Should dry even better there if & just do 2 rows & being out of the rain.
No, err Yes Dam, now I'm confused Yes feels good that I used the wood / no, the empty shed don't look right. Yes it feels good I have 8 cord ready to take it's place in the shed, / no then the stack will be gone. Yes that then in OCT I can go cut more. / No cause I have to wait till Oct So no , ..............well yes
