Thanks all... Sure is quiet around here tonight. Feel really sad for the wife, as it will really hit home when I'm gone next week...It will be really quiet then.:tears:

Ah, go ahead there's lots of animals out there that need a home.
I noticed your location, so do you live in Fowlerville and have a place up in Grayling, or vice versa?

When you loose a furry friend and really miss them, I think that is a sure sign that you need to open your home to another. So many out there in dire need of homes. Thousands put down every day due to irresponsible owners. We have 6 cats. one is a rescue. He is loved just as much as the rest of them. All are neutered and up to date on their immunizations. I don't allow them outside. Lots of catbox detail but they are worth it.

Primary home in fowlerville. Have a house on 10 acres in Lovells..just outside of Grayling. But would like to make this one the primary.

HDR and Nitro, we used to go fishing at Parshallville (fairly close to Hartland) quite often when I was young.
    Fun times.
Just looked it up and it's evidently turned into quite the tourist attraction. Maybe we'll head down there one day.

Our year old pup Emma visited a friend's house recently and their bed frames are higher off the ground than ours. She explored under all their beds. She tried it at home last night, looking for our cats. She worked her way under Marie's bed but needed help getting back out so we had to lift the bed frame up. None the worse for wear. This Golden Retriever - Beagle mix is a joyful lovable dog!

if you look on a Google satellite Map crouse Rd goes into heartland, anyway just west of 23 on the south side of Crouse Road, they built a golf course right next door to where I used to live, right where the golf course parking lot is, used to be a huge pig barn, just a little south from that pig barn was a little spring fed stream, it was not deep at all and only about 4 feet wide,, and the cool thing about it is, there was a beer bottle stuck into the ground with no bottom in it, the spring water came right up through that beer bottle all the time and I would bend down there and drink, just like a water fountain, that was some good water there.
