Same here. I feel its unfair to my kids to keep such a close eye on them but in today's world :headbang:

Even though we live out in the middle of nowhere, ours has an eye on her every second too.

I feel the same. I look at the neighbors kids running around with no one watching them. I won't let my kids go in their yards to play.

I have two options for babysitting on the weekends. One is perfect, but only can do it 2x per year. The other is quite available, but they send their older kids to the park with lil ones all by themselves. Yikes!! So, I actually have one babysitter...

Too much responsibility for you to take on, but I might consider them lucky atleast someone (you) keeps an eye on them when you are outside with your own lil ones.

I let my kids play in the fenced in part of the yard but still have the door open so I can hear them. My oldest is 6. To me that is still the age where they need someone watching over them some.

Did you hear about some couple out east that lets lil ones walk alone to and from a park? The kids were removed after something similar happened again.

Yea that was around here. I think the oldest was 10. I'm not sure all the instructions and outs but the way it was handled was a little uncalled for. The police did not call the parents for some time. It's a tough call IMHO on when kids are "old" enough to let range as I call it.

Similar here. I can see 75% of the yard from where I sit. I go check when she goes to the 25% out of view and I do not hear her.

I think I am not 100% sure though. I read the article but can't remember where.

My oldest will be 16 this month. IMHO, still a target, just to a slightly different kind of sicko. No matter the age, people need to be aware of their surroundings and other people.
Want to see something really scary, Google "sex offenders map" and put your zip code in.

I used to have the app. No matter how old they are your still their parent. They might not like it but your only looking out for them.

I think that I would have put the run on "Joe" and his experiment.
I view anyone that comes up to "talk" for no apparent reason (much less some thrown together experiment) with suspicion. I seen other vids of people making fools of themselves by pranking unsuspecting victims and wonder how they can be so bold as to openly offend others.
What will this nut do next? Show how easy it is to teach kids to lie...cheat...dis-obey...tease...bully- all in the name of an experiment?
Wonder just what this "joe" guy does when him and his dog get home???

It's probably better that I don't have kids. I gps track and watch my dog like a hawk for cripes sake. I can't imagine how bad I would worry about my kids.
