Been looking for a good cart for the four wheeler for a while. Many places on my property too tight for tractor and wagon, several bridges that won't take tractor and cart weight, or too far away to be practical with tractor speeds. Found this cart several places, some wanted anywhere from 150 - 270 to ship it to me, but got it from manufacturer for $449 including shipping. Its made by Ohio Steel, and they sell direct through yardandgardendirect.com. Put it together this morning in about 45 minutes. Was impressed with the cart, pretty stout, love the tires and clearance especially. And the solid axle and fact that tires have roller bearings and grease fittings. Also liked that bed was welded one piece and not nuts and bolts on seams. Picked up a hitch converter from them as well so all my stuff could stay 1 and 7/8ths ball size. It looks like you made a good choice, your a good online researcher. The price seems decent for a fully welded box, shipping included. The test will be when you get it attached to the 4 wheeler and put it to work. Put a dent in it, scratch the paint a little.
It won't be shiny for long. Only complaint was they shipped me 8 extra bolts and nut, but 8 too few washers. We were able to scrounge enough to finish. And assembly is much more fun with two people i think by the way.
Mine is the cheap thin model but very handy around here. 17cft I think and will hold everything I can fit in it but it has needed beefing up since new next is the front bracket and the only time the dumper was used is when it released by itself while hauling full loads. I ended up just putting a bolt through the frame and bracket.
they are great at dumping a load of rocks in the middle of the yard ! dad had a sears craftsmen exactly like it for 30 years
Does your atv have a ball for the hitch? ( trailer looks like a pin hitch. ) Be nice to have/add a ball hitch , on/off easy Nice big, heavy duty , multi use trailer
Yep, I'm always finding more uses for mine. Heck, sometimes I'll just wheel it around by hand as a big wheelbarrow, for leaves or something else that's not too heavy.
