That saw would get $400 all day here on CL. The 290 is a very respectable machine and would serve anyone making firewood well. I'll throw down $25 to help out.
Keep in mind that the 290 is not exactly a lightweight saw. That being said, it will cut considerably faster than that poulan you used for a bit, so the weight difference may be fine because you'll cut up the wood in half the time. And yeah, most of this crowd are pretty good folks, and trusting to a fault. We can definitely fix you up with a nice saw on the cheap. That being said, if you decide the 290 is too heavy for you, let me know. I may have another option, just under 11 lbs.
