How to add a side chain adjuster to a MS 170

    Parts required
    MS250 side chain adjuster- 1123 007 1000
    Screw- 9075-478-3015

    Remove clutch cover, bar, and chain. Pop out the old front chain adjuster with a screw driver. Install the new side chain adjuster and screw. Re-install bar, chain, and clutch cover.

    Great tip! Five of my saws are front adjuster and it is one part of the saws that I wish I could change. Cheers!

    I'm not sure that all saws would be as easy to convert as this one.
