    Good news!!!
Ruger is NOT gun shy!!! We were out today shooting and shot about a hundred rounds and never a flinch.
He was just hanging out and walking around us. Even wondered out in front of us:bug:

Thats's upstairs so we have a good view of the yard and the squirrels. When she goes out, she is off like lightening. she is a tall girl and loves to love and be loved. I think she would be an excellent hunter if trained.

I share your pain. I have two dogs and 6 cats. you can save a huge amount by seeing this traveling vet: http://drhokkanen.com/ He has come out to my car to do the shots because my dogs don't behave when waiting in a line.

Yeah it adds up quick with multiple kids. Prices for vacs are about the same, I guess with the traveling vet you don't pay an office exam fee?

6 cats, did you keep the whole litter?

I had a mobile vet at my previous home, 4 dogs and a cat, it was soooo much easier and yes, the office exam fee was considerably less. Unfortunately we do not have a mobile vet here at the new house:headbang:

Yes, they are three males, all more friendly than the parents. Couldn't part with them. So we had all of them neautered and the female lab. That was a big expence. There is no office visit fee with the traveling vet. He didn't do the surgeries. But i did go to a place in Freeport that was much more reasonable for the neautering. The dog was $210 and each of the cats was $65. I also had a lot of immunizations done at the same time.
