So, trying my first Claritin for allergies tonight. Thankfully the doc thinks sinus/eye things I am having is simply allerigies. Wish me luck!

it's nice to be out of the worst of it.
Seems like a lot of the storms have high hail probability this year for my neck of the woods.
we've had 3 hail T-storms so far just pea sized -cools it down quick

WW any chance you can source some local honey?
Is this the first spring in your new location?

The honey(don't give it to the little ones) can have a buffering property on your body to the pollens in your new area.
You may find next year your body has adapted to the new allergy - unless the Claritin prevents you from building natural antihistamine to the pollen

Pretty much. Last spring was my first here, but home was too cold to go out. Now since remodel this home is much warmer and I have been opening windows and door for fresh air.

I will google for local honey. There is organic at the market (not from here though), is that an option?

Local honey will be the only thing that can help - think bees hitting all the flowering trees, bushes, weeds in your area and making a vaccine for your allergies.
Sometimes the second year you just snap out of it(worked for me in several locations)

My grandfather was a keeper and I remember him telling us the same thing about allergies. I don't really get them to begin with but I sure do enjoy honey all the same.

It's not too late to get a "bad case of diarrhea", no one here would blame you.
