I have a pretty good looking 044 stihl I took in on trade. Don't know to much about here except I've ran about half a tank of gas threw it and it runs pretty good. Has 155 comp. Has a dual port muffler cover and bigger bucking dawgs. Asking $450 obo plus the ride.
No idea. I've taken the air filter off. To pull a comp check. Lol. 135027756 is the serial if you can tell bye that.
straight fins on top of the cylinder=12mm, diag fins= 10mm. if it's a 12 be a good candidate for a hybrid.
That's not all true. There's several 12mm jugs with diagonal fins. The serial number says 12mm crank.
I bought one of those recently with a toasted top end. 12mm with diagonal fin cyl.. So does this saw have a 046 rear handle assembly cause the air filter cover doesn't look right? If so it is really begging to become a hybrid.
I think the reason thecair filter cover looks different, is because it might have the non HD style air filter.
Nice thing about these saws is the weight. If you grab this saw and grab my 440R the 044 is much lighter. Just bye feel just a tad heavier than a 361!
Do you know whether there's a physical difference between the 10mm diagonal-fin cylinders and the 12mm diagonal-fin cylinders?
