I hope I'm not stepping on anyones thread, but I didn't see one of these, If so, Vaporize it Grizzly Adam…

Anyway, Just curious what everyone burn't this winter. I for one was a bit over the 5 cord mark. I didn't include my uglies that I used for early shoulder so my official tally would be a 5-1/2.

Just under 5. Mix of Pine/Spruce, Red Maple, and Oak, with a smattering of Poplar.

Somewhere around 3.5 cord for me this winter it was mostly pine with a mix of gum, maple and mystery wood when it was really cold.

I was very happy with burning 5 cord this year. My old stove ( Jotul Oslo) burned 5.5 last year so I know this hybrid is no joke despite the crazy weather we had. This years menu included; black and white birch, white ash, red and white oak, American beech and some sugar maple. The shoulder wood was just less than a cord for fall and spring and had all of the above plus some cedar and white pine.

About 2.7. A few chunks along the way as well. Mostly pine with some tulip and sweet gum.

We are finished for the indoor burning season, only fire pit from now on...
Just about 5 cords since we started burning the end of October, 1.5 cords of mixed shoulder season stuff and the rest red oak, white oak, and silver maple. Also burned about a ton of coal.

BTU wise I probably reduced the total number of BTUs burnt by about 15 to 20% due to a couple of insulation projects last summer.

I forgot Dave, you have a bit to go… This winter for us here on the Jersey shore was pretty tough. My norm is 4+- I started on the 5th cord in Feb, and sucked a full cord.

About 6, maybe 6.5 before the bitter end sometime in early June usually, the sea breezes can make things quite cool for awhile. 90% was spruce, some birch and red maple for the rest. I haven't been more than 24 hours without a fire since mid Oct.

Right at 6 or so. Short changed myself when stacking in the shed and can't figure exactly how much was in there.

So far I'm close to 6.5.......that's two stoves running pretty much from early November til just a week or two ago, so I'm impressed. I burned one stove in October and I'm running just one stove now, may end up using another .25 cord. And we had a MEGA COLD winter this year.
