The test Julian did is far from useless though. There has to be a reason H1R is slower @ 32:1. Too thick is my theory. That's why I'm trying out the Yamalube.
Nebber tried it ,ran maxima 927 in the atv for years ,It was good stuff ,but it separates from the gas when gets cold ,so never ran it in a saw ,stihl mix ,and h1r is all i have tried in the saws ,I did mix up some 927 to try out in the saw ,when the h1r runs out i may try it ,when changing need to be careful, some oils do not mix ,i have been running h1r in everything for last couple years ,hedge trimmer, weed eater ,chop saw ,chainsaws ,post hole drill ,gas powered drill ,i will most likely dedicate 1 saw to try it on so do not mix them all up ,I am curious on the lucas oil ,i like the blue color ,lol
Ronnie has done alot of studying and he seems to think for best performance at 32to1 we need a oil at value of 10 cSt or less for v@100°C. I think that would even the playing field by his test . Bwalker is right to a point I believe
