Your wife was right. You are slaying them!:D

I'd rather be fishing and catching nothing than playing plumber man today.

I don't think that would 'mount too much of a taxidermy bill. ;)

I've caught native brookies here in the PA mountains that small, with a waxworm on a #16 hook. .....I swear their mouth is almost as big as their body! It's amazing what they eat even at "frye" stage!

Yeah, they get pretty aggressive. I've caught ones that size out west in Eastern Oregon on a worm bigger than the fish.

I'll admit to eating said small fry as well from that creek in Oregon. Pan fried in butter and salt and pepper, and on a cracker. Clean them out, cut the head off cook them and eat them whole.

    They are very tasty.

My sick juvenile mind hearing the topic went straight to stocking the pond with brown trout...then when a reference to plumbing was made I had to say. Just glad you didn't take a pic of that kind of trout cuz that is your business and yours alone.

How long did it take to reel that monster in? You're going to be sore tomorrow.

Not sure why, but he did buy worms last week. Lil one came home with one that had been hooked and fished with and still alive. Horkn........... She put it in the aq :picard:I took it out but later she came over with it in her hand to tell me "it's tired, taking a nap"  Poor worm... PS, I guess the fish out here do not bite on worms.

Is this part of the panning for gold trip?
