My dogs and cats have been hyper active today. Anyone else notice this behavior during the full of the moon?

In all my years working in emergency services, it was a common and expected occurrence......and I'm talking about the two-legged animals.

Yes, I used to see it in labor and delivery. But I'm not much up on pet behavior during the moon. My female lab was very hyper today, and the kittens were playing tag all afternoon when that is normally their nap time.

Was out doing some splitting this morning, the pups were off in the woods making a racket chasing something, prolly rabbits and we had the most intense snow squall I've ever seen blow up. I ran inside to get the camera, came back out and it was all but done, lasted less than a minute. Musta scared the crap outa the pups, they were sitting on the snowbank just staring. Weirdest thing, kinda spooky.

For "unsticking" a quad, mount a good warn winch on it. That way you know it'll work when needed. Jm2¢

Not sad. We're happy he found us and brought us joy in his final days. I like to think he appreciated us too.

The yearly easter egg hunt. Dog treats are in the eggs. We always have to replace a few every year.

Hmmmm, it's not working. I'll have to add it through YouTube...

Maybe thats why Ruger grabbed a pound of bacon out of a pan on the stove Saturday night. :bug:
The wife was pizzzed offf!!! :BrianK:
She put the pan on the stove, turned it on high, threw the bacon in the pan in one big lump and walked around the corner to say something to me...ten seconds later she walked back into the kitchen just in time to see him getting back down from the stove with the bacon in his mouth. :heidi:
then she had to run to the store to finish the recipe she was making

I've said it before, but Badger, our lab, loves raw bacon. He's never taken it out of a hot pan though.
