I do most of my cutting when it's pretty warm out because it's too muddy otherwise. I don't do anything with my saws other than there is fuel and oil in them. Some only run every couple of years and others run quite often. I have a 260 and a 440 that do most of my cutting and a dozen other saws that usually just hang around. Very seldom have problems and have rebuilt a couple but they were used saws that blew fairly soon after I got them so I blame that on poor fuel mixing by previous owners. I make my mix 2 gallons at a time and use Lazer mix. Have lots of 2 stroke equipment so fuel doesn't get real old.
