No, I didn't wear it out, this is the same 661, just had it ported. Ya see I was warmed ahead of time, if you have one parted, you'll have them all ported. I didn't listen,, thought I could beat the sickness,, but it won out after all.

Every time I ran the 661, it's inner voice spoke to me, port me,, please port me, I wanna sound like that 441c :D

Plus, it be a pain in the rear, when you have a ported saw or two, and a stock saw. Having to carry around two different gas cans, with two different flavors oil and mix ratios,, gets kind of old :)

It is all about simplicity now, they can all drink from the same bottle, no more labels, etc trying to keep the cans all straight :)

That's awesome Maul!! Dex I gotta reserve my awesome label for these 661's, even if all I've done is hold and eye one up at the dealer. Being yours is Masterminded now must really get the smiles going all around.

Feed yer stockers the same as yer ported critters. They'll stay frisky a long time that way.

No worries buddy! I knew what you meant  All good!!

Maul!! That is a beautiful saw! As for PSD or CAD... Last year I went nuts on both. I am in a small time of remission right now, but after these next 2 GTG's I have two saws that I really have been wanting to build for awhile.

I just got mine, as well, but I don't dare open it in front of my wife... I've never even had my hands on it. It went straight to Randy on the way here from its previous owner! image.jpg

There's a farm down the from me, getting cleaned up. They had a big excavator there today, pulling trees out of the ground. Took my trailer and got some good sized Elm trees for the 661 to play in. This is the 1st trailer load home. There is another load like this there and maybe part of a 3rd load.

    DSCN0228.JPG

Got the wood unloaded, and made a video. Big Elm crotch, 36" bar,, 1st cut I let the saw do the work, and self feed. 2nd cut I leaned on it pretty good. I think it's neat in the 2nd cut you can watch the different color chips, as they change threw different parts of the crotch.
