    If you split a piece and check it Immediately there is no need to try and cram the pins in deep

    The Condor probe will not work Right on a single wall pipe, I don't know About other types, brands

    I get a couple of points higher reading with the probes buried. Even immediately after the re-split. I could just add 2 to the surface reading.

    I use the General Moisture Meter which seems to work pretty well, and the Condar Inferno temp gauge, which I put on top of the insert.

    BrianK, where do you point the gun? Do you open the door or point at the glass?
