Dave, are you stirring the pot again? :picard:

I did hear about this story today on regarding a global warming rally at Yale... :shiver:

"Yale anti-fossil fuel campaigners have indefinitely postponed a protest that was set for this weekend due to “unfavorable weather conditions and other logistical issues.”
Fossil Free Yale, a group pushing the university to divest itself from fossil fuels, told the Yale Daily News that frigid, snowy weather set for this weekend will mean their global warming protest will have to be postponed."

Woke up to -5*F this morning, and it got up to a whopping 15*F with a stiff 20mph wind. Supposed to be a cold, cold week coming up around here.

Politics...what politics...I don't see no stinking politics. Of course I lean hard to the right, but that's just because my left leg is longer than my right......:wacky:

We service pnc banks alarms and the banks are all green buildings. Well the tellers had to postpone opening till 12 yesterday because the branches were too cold to open. Corporate operates the stat remotely. So funny.

That's funny and I'm not surprised one bit. I can just imagine what the customers (that knew) had to say about that.

Global warming and increased CO2 actually make plants grow better and eventually shift the breadbasket areas farther north into Canada and Russia, allowing more agriculture for the growth of grains and other plants. If global warming were occurring it wouldn't be the end of the world as we know it. It might help us feed more people.

That said, the latest reports indicate there was an awful lot of dishonestly in the global warming scientific community, with manipulation of data going back a hundred years to fit their narrative. If the data had to be manipulated to push the global warming agenda, then the question that must be asked is, what's the agenda behind the global warming agenda?

I fail to see any catastrophe in Dr. Spencer's graph.
Just wait until the lack of sunspots takes hold. Decades of cooling coming up.
It's a shame that the rest of my life will be taken up by having to fight colder weather.

The entire GW group of followers has to push back hard with the "debate is over" line... because that's the last thing they want anyone to do... to look at their track record of "end of the world" predictions since this militant eviro movement all started around 30 years ago. None of their early predictions were even close. Not... even... close.

The former head & founder of Greenpeace has come out hard against the hard left direction his group has gone over the years. Waaay too many half truths and deceptions needed to push the cause. You can easily find articles about him. I've always felt the early folks had a good core thought too... we have to stop/slow down giant industrial pollution all around the world... I think everyone agrees with that. They just blew it. They then came up with the genius idea that carbon will be "the enemy"... and, if you don't agree, your opinion has to be silenced. The debate is over, your a denier, etc... :picard: The real inconvenient truth here is, as more time passes, and more climate change happens as it has for billions of years before the industrial age... more and more governments & their citizens... will grow tired of kicking this deadhorse as all see Mother Nature is just a little more complex than the GW folks want to admit... and she's gonna do what she's gonna do. Want to prepare for climate change? It's a good idea. Water rising along shore lines? Move back away from the shore. Temps becoming warmer where you live? Take off your coat. Temps getting colder where you live? (We all know THAT can never happen...) Put that coat back on. Stepping off the box now that it's all settled...  ... :BrianK: ... Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I like most all of your post Stinny and I have never bought into the GW thing.....main thing I differ on is "billions of years". I take the bible literally and believe we live on a young earth. Not trying to start anything just making a comment :)
