I have 18 chickens, 2 horses, 2 cows, a donkey 6 goats and a very small vegtable garden, which take up all my spare time. But its fun.

I manage a 165 acre farm here in Maryland, along w /one other guy. Currently have 30 Angus cows + bull, and 39 steers/heifers, 12 of which are heading off to freezer camp next month. Also raise broilers, around 500-600 a year, 150 turkeys, and keep about 150 layers around right now. In addition we raise about 25 acres of corn/soybeans, and also sell custom poultry feed. It keeps me busy, some days more than others, although I do miss having my own farm (leased up in PA until owner sold out to developer unexpectedly) and keeping my own hours. Working for someone else has its drawbacks for sure :) Although I'm dangerously close to leaving and being able to buy my own farm along w/ the Mrs. who's recently finished up her PhD (ching ching!).

We grow a good size garden every year the kids help which makes it easy kinda. But we also raise pigs and steers! I love to feed my family off our farm but also love to give food to our church family. Next is a bigger chicken coop this year. My goal this year is learning how to jar! I want to make dill pickles and try to make all my squash last till next summer. By freezing it or canning it.

CL Score! Double wheel cultivator. $35. Handles were rotted out so I'll be ordering a new set. It needs a little cleaning up but it'll be working at the farm in no time. Does anyone know a good source to date Planet Jr items?

Man that is a good find for that price. I have a double wheel one that I got from and uncle of mine. Not sure of a good place to date them. I keep meaning to stop and ask about 1 that a person is just letting rust away in a flower bed, just to timid to stop I guess.
