Like the lady said "It just goes to show ya, if it's not one thing, it's another!" Two good days shot to pieces! Yesterday was shot because my cell phone died so I had to spend most of the day in the stupid Sprint store taking care of that. One of life's great mysteries is why something so simple as replacing a cell phone has to take most of the day! Today the refrigerator died, and it's only 3 years old! So now I'm off to find dry ice and a new fridge! Man, I've got to restack some wood that tipped and I've got a bunch of splitting to do and it's gonna rain tomorrow as well!! I just keep getting behinder and behinder!
Sprint is the worst had nothing but trouble with them from the day they took over the good old brick Nextel. It would drop calls and no service for days. Just last week sprint lost all towers in the Chicagoland area for a day or so. I switched to Verizon and for a cell phone company I actually love them. Somehow on Saturday I somehow blocked my wife's phone calls and text messages I called the help number and they were able to fix it up. Guy asked if I had anyone her problems and I said my battery dies fast. Said no problem I can check it from here. He looked and my batteries life somehow and said battery is failing. Will ship you a new phone under warranty. Arrived yesterday and so far no problems!! Sorry about the fridge!! No help with that!!
My condolences on your crappy two days. when there is stuff to get done the last thing you want to do is stand in a cellular store and fridge shopping.

Not a big deal. We've had so many things happening here and will be more daily but this is only the first of April. Lots of time before warm season starts. Get the little things out of the way now so when it is time to do those other things, you'll not have to be standing in a line somewhere.
Been there myself. Im surprised you even get service down there with sprint it sucks over this way. I knew it was going to rain Friday but didnt know about tomorrow grrrr that puts a damper on some of my plans as well
Sprint and Verizon is all we get here and the big V is not good. In addition we don't have cable so I have to get internet through a Sprint hotspot and my T.V. through an antenna.
I ditched the satellite a year and a half ago we have cable here but we don't have cable TV just the Internet all our TV comes from Netflix Amazon and youtube
We now that I'm thinking about it will be in the market for a new fridge too we have had current one 12 years it's inky a matter of time. I should have kept my mouth shut be my luck tomorrow it happens
I forget how old my fridge is but well over 15 years so far. Phones is another matter. I have been averaging 4 or so years on those. About the time my battery quits being right, I have enough credit for a "free" new phone and my batteries are no longer available so I am stuck. My TV is on Dish net and works great, if you don't mind the costs. It is far cheaper than DirecTV so its OK that way. For internet I am using the cable company connection but when I move into my new home I will be using a local company that has repeaters on local farmers' grain silos. There is one of those repeaters only about 1/4 mile from my new home and I ran conduit to make installation a breeze. My home phone, wired system, is VOIP using a NetTalk Duo account for $30 per year. My new internet connection will not be robust enough to support that but that is fine with me. I use my cell almost exclusively these days anyway.
Can you tell me more about that? I am in the boonies and pay alot for satellite internet, I'd love to lower costs. Also, I have a personal repeater antenna for cell phone service, neat deal! Phone calls aren't that great but it does texting fine.
I have no idea what is available in Wyoming. I am in central Illinois and a local guy took on the lack of high speed internet by establishing his own private network. As an ISP he has the local county or a bit more as his service territory. He has fronted the money as a private business to set up the repeaters and make most local homes accessible. He operates his first relay from the city water tower and from that point relies on tall buildings to house repeaters to his ultimate customers. I happen to be building a home within a couple of hundred yards of a repeater on the top of a grain silo so I am going to be served. The local guy has kept his internet price lower than if I went with Dishnet as my ISP so I will be using his service. The person hosting that repeater gets free internet service as his payment for use of his silo. To me this is the best of both worlds. I get a good price for high speed internet service and a local mom and pop type business gets customers who appreciate what they are providing at a reasonable price.
