That's my 036 Pro apart. I have the 441C-M and my 460 if I needed to do some damage. :)

I have another 036 Pro that I bought off eBay Tues. It's in good shape. But I am gonna go through the one I just bought and do some Mods on the one I already had. :)

Mine should be here today. :)

What is it with these things? We get all excited over $1000 pro saws with self-adjusting carbs and ignition systems, and still go apechit over a $40 toy?

There is some decent stuff from china. My wodcutting buddy replaced his splitter motor 2+ yrs ago with the harbor freight $99. 6hp. Its a Honda copy. Starts on 3rd pull or less. So far no issues. We can replace the motor every 5 years for a long time before u get to the price of a Honda. And unless there is a freak failure its showing no signs of wear.

A friend of mine also replaced a splitter motor with one of those I'm really surprised at how well it has been working for him. Think maybe I should hold onto the old echo then.?

So. Here is what $132.00 buys you in chainsaws.....

    image.jpg

I can't believe the quality difference between these and my 52cc commie saw. No wonder these are popular! Bravo Ardisam! All three power heads are in new condition. Two of the chains are new, all 3 bars are new. I can't frigging wait to get busy with these! But alas, they have to wait as I need to pump out some work in the shop this weekend. And cut some wood!:tree:

BTW: You couldn't buy the bar that I have on my MS441 for $132. o_O

All the guys on here seem very pleased with them. I have a Richmond and am happy, now it not a Stihl by any means but it does run and cut very nice for 100 bucks. 62cc 24 inch bar

The mufflers are so plug up it's unreal

I found out to just cut the lip off the muffler and weld it back together; just remember it's under $50 a saw

Oh yeah the adjustment screws on the carb are different there "D" shape - I found the right size tool at a garage sale that fit them after about 4 saws

The way I got around that on a few of them is to use a dremel with a cut off wheel and make a slot
