...Will have to wait... :( The spring part anyways.

Planned to work on my new stack this morning, but I decided to do some chainsaw maintenance instead.

New air filter going in the 036, decomp coming out - I'm robbing it temporarily for the 660.

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Stubby scrench, corners rounded slightly on the bench grinder, made the perfect tool for pulling the decomp.

Took the 660 out for a spin... :saw: We need a smiley with a bigger grin.

I cut 2 of my maple logs up into 8.5' lengths in preparation for milling. Ended up with 4 nice sized logs from each. Hot knife, meet butter: :dex:

Well we barely made it above freezing today, but it was a nice sunny day. The snow from this morning all had disappeared by about 3. So I got a little stacking in this evening.

Selected some really dry pieces to burn right away cause I'm running pretty low. Had 2 more cold snaps this week.

Friggin' cold and windy today out in the woods, plus a short but ferocious snow squall. At least it wasn't too hot. I can always put on more clothes, but once it get's hot and sticky, I hate it.

Still takes a good pull - if you half-azz it, it will still bite your fingers. But it's so much easier now - comparable to the 036 without decomp.
