I pulled this off one of their eBay auctions. Look in the background. They have pallets of the things! I guess they would have to as many as they sell. Screenshot_2013-12-04-15-01-06.png

Menard's was selling these for a while and my BIL bought one....I think he paid a $150. I'll save him the pain and never mention this thread.

I used it once and wanted to throw up afterward. It was pretty painful...but I think most of that was because the chain is absolute garbage.

Of course there is pallets of them. Ardisam makes the Earthquakes. The reason the cheapo ones may not be in stock, is they are "As is". Only so many of them to go around.

Curious about this base gasket delete deal - obviously some compression added, but does it slightly change intake/exhaust port alignment(has to right?) As well as the port to piston timing
What do you guys do? Lap the cylinder and use some sealant(Hylomar/Loctite 516 etc?)

They just lower on the engine right? The piston foes below the ports more than the gasket thickness so it do sent matter right.

No because it is a fixed intake/exhaust port on a 2 stroke it changes the cycle time - subtle though it is I was curious if ports are opened on the bottom of intake and upper part of the exhaust.
Really the upper part of the exhaust is where it would affect the "breathability" most

This is basically like decking the heads on a 4-stroke but without changing valve lift and timing as there are none.
I would guess any of these 200psi units are running av-gas as well - who'd of thought your $45 saw drank $6/gal gas:rofl:

Clemsonfor, the pics are here. Check the settings on your phone to make sure it will allow pics from FHC. Also pics don't always load if you don't have good data coverage, the things time out. A C

Make sure to measure squish on these. People elsewhere are getting over 200-220 psi in stock form with 1 tank of gas. Running 91-93 pump gas and mixing 32:1-40:1. So removing the gasket, may cause some interference with #'s that high.

And Clem, as Basod said above, the piston and cyl make the same travel. But by removing the base gasket, the intake and exhaust ports, do get slightly affected. But it isn't enough to notice. Unless your base gasket is something ridiculous, like .050" thick.

    I'm gonna check mine tomorrow. . :)

But for now, I have a Gem on my bench.

Yeah, if it times out or your signal isn't up to par, it won't load up. I've only seen it twice, a quick refresh, and pics appear.

Its weird its only like certain people I can't see their pics.

I'm sitting 20ft from my wifi router!!I have not seen a single pic from H2h. I see every pic Dex posts as well as MM and I think Pete. I see backwoods pics. I see all ironP's pics?? There a few other members that I can't see their pics either, no matter if on wifi or cell signal? That's why I assume its a hosting issue??
