What's up today (bullchiting) thread.

I'll try, but my mom's an actual hoarder of non wood things, and it's not pretty. The actual cottage isnt really a cottage, its an A frame built 40 years ago, but still being finished inside. It's got hot water, indoor plumbing, washer and drier, great insulation, wood heat with a wood/ coal boiler tied in with a lp crown boiler, the lopi endeavor on the main level, and electric in wall heaters if needed too. Is got all the conveniences of home. It even has satellite TV and internet. There's a lot of Douglas fir inside I'm told, but I think its something else as Doug is much redder. Could be the ubiquitous knotty pine? Here's a teaser showing the ceiling which doesn't have stuff on it due to gravity.
Maybe I can get a pic from outside where the fresh snow from yesterday is covering stuff up.

She needs professional help, with organizing good stuff from bad stuff, but she resists that. My 2 older brothers and I are planning on a deep spring cleaning when it gets nicer out, but I have to get them here from Portland Oregon, and St Pete, Florida. I'm just 200 or so miles away from the cabin up in the north woods.

Same here. Absolute chitstorm.

 

Last day is over. Installed one last furnace and it was a nice one at that.
Ended up with about 6" of snow with more still falling.

 

I don't know.... kegs at work doesn't sound that bad...

 

I have had this feeling for like 2 weeks now. I swear that Murphy has been following me around.
I've been good, I only turned to the bottle 2x in all this misery, I should be an alcoholic by now.

 

My week has been crazy at work with report cards going out, scholarship info and lots of filing piling up. Nice to come at the end of the day.

I had a local small roofing outfit come by here a month ago to clear the snow from my low pitch back roof....not only is roofing hard work, those guys are just plain crazy. I only wish I had the fortitude to scale a roof like they did, especially hanging over the peak to get some snow and ice dam that was half way down the steep pitched front. I couldnt even watch that as visions of things going bad kept creeping in my head.

 

And it's snowing.

 

Probably getting a new baby this weekend...I'm pretty dang sure.
