Well the weather cooperated this weekend and I was able to reload the wood shed. I still had all the wood stacked on the left and another cord in the mobile racks. Brought in another 4 cord of locust oak and cherry. That left me with one skid of shorts and uglies outside the shed. Then split up the last of the rounds of maple I had in the pile. Almost done cleaning up and I have one more big maple that needs to come down.

This time of year when the yard is froze stiff is when I like top off the heaphausen behind the house. The loader don't rut things up.
Buuuttt,,,,,, my heaphausen in the North 40 is like a block of ICE. I don't want to warp my loader trying to crack into it :headbang::hair:when I move the wood!!!

Had a little time before meeting the tax man this morning and finished stacking the maple I split. Got 1 cord out of it, the pic is a good example of the three varieties of racks I use. One in the middle is shorts and uglies. That makes me done with CSS until I drop the tree in my yard. Felt good to finally get after it again, I barely cut any firewood this winter.

I'm loving the roof, that made a huge difference in getting wood from the stacks this year.

Good job getting it filled back up full. Sort of like getting that bank account replenished to its original balance after paying cash to buy a new (used) car.

Sometimes I just feel the need to repeat myself.

Now that I'm actually thinking about it (I do that occasionally), he would have had his finger stuck on the "quote" button.
