Got out to the wood lot just as the sun was coming up. I missed the red sky but it was still a nice sunrise. The superintendents were on the job. Pretty cosy work for the three of them. Again Campinspecter found three nice Douglas Fir logs to make up the load. We got finished and headed home and the rain started. Our Wood shed is full now so on Sunday we will head out to get a load for Granny.
We get out for a early start! The road is a active haul area, so we go out with the empty logging trucks and find ourselves going the same direction as the loaded ones going home! The last section of road to get to the firewood area is a single lane road with pullouts for meeting someone.
Our wood splitter is 30 years old. there weren't too many of them made. Campinspecter has rebuilt parts of it over the years. It is a design that works well for our needs.
