I have neither of these types of wood. That is why I did not participate in this. I have none of the woods in it. LOFL! I burn White Ash and White Pine. It is what I have on the property.

Today is going to be a cold one in the woods. Around 2ish out right now, and should be about 5-10ยบ by the time I get out there after I put the kids get on the bus. I think because there is suppose to be a slight wind I will have to wear my mask this morning. It is time to cut some wood and maybe some Ash logs. :saw: But first it will be get down to camp and make sure the pellet stove is still burning.

Gonna tear back into the oak log pile today. Hopefully the wind will stay down. Trying to get the whole load bucked up and moved to my splitting/stacking area before the muck starts again. Everyone have a safe day.

This is the last week the boss has scheduled for the business to be open. Friday will be his last day and then the business will be closed after 39 years. I don't think I'll be on board all week, but there are some things that have to be finished up that I have to be there for. After that, I'll be on here and a cigar site a lot more than I should be!! Also have to decide whether to fly or drive for the Colorado trip this coming summer. Fares aren't what they used to be and I don't like flying anyway.

Thanks, its just that I'm neither old enough or ready (financially) to retire. I'll pick something up (job wise) to finish out the time I need and then retire. There may be a couple options I'm gonna check into a bit deeper as soon as I am "officially" done. The boss is a good man, and I can see that he would probably be calling during the warm months to help him out then, also. Try as he might, there are going to be some things he just won't get done this week. (Already heard him tell one customer he'll finish the job this summer)

Lil one still sick but better today, fever not as high. Just kills me that she is so sweet and appreciative though still under the weather.

"Thank You Momma" in that tiny sweet voice gets me everytime!

Sitting in Johns Hopkins hospital with the littlest. Hoping that he did not aspirate a piece of chicken the other day. His pediatrician sent us here cause he's wheezing on his left side and not the right. He's been for x-rays and hopefully all is well. Little trooper in napping now.

Yes. Better safe than sorry on this one. Especially if the doc was concerned.

Yeah, that is promising. That's a lot better news than lung issues.

Good news! Sounds miserable for him and no fun for you either. What can they do for him? Can they jump start with a shot of antibiotics like in adults?
