ooh, another: - No matter how frozen things seem to be, if the ground was soggy when it froze it will not support a tractor or truck as well as you think.
You can teach on old dog new tricks! 1. What shoulder wood is & what a great idea it is to have some. 2. Wood cut split then stacked in a shady woods uncovered doesn't dry at all. 3. Those rubber palmed gloves are GREAT. 4. I don't need to keep my shop at 72 degrees 24/7 with my OWB during the winter. 55 is fine & saves a ton of wood. 5. I don't know or care what the" other site" is. FHC suits me to a "T" & I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this labor of love. 6. I think a GTG would be a blast. Hope that I can attend one this Summer. ( I'll bring the cigars) 7. FHC has a combination of wise & smart folks... Not to mention incredibly giving! 8. I think I need to get a heavy duty oiler on my 066 mag when I run a 32 or 36 inch bar. 9. Randy in Tenn is a class guy 10. Ditto Shawn C. 11. Can't wait for next winter because I have a bunch of primo wood in solar kilns. 12. The 362 actually is awesome. 13. I am envious of some of your woodsheds & outdoor fireplaces/ovens. 14. You folks are seriously funny.
1. Lodgepole Pine make a great firewood, especially for the shoulders. 2. I really can get an all night burn in my Allnighter. 3. More wood is better. 4. Sapwood is really helpful in getting the fire started. 5. God has blessed me immensely. 6. Cutting wood is therapeutic for me and warms the wife, but the dog hates it. 7. Lots more, can't think of them right now. Greg
Thanks, I've got a bunch more on the ground. Just need to get it out of the woods. Moving wood is very time consuming.
