I bought mine about this time last year and it has been 100% trouble free as cut over 10 cord of wood.

I like M-Tronic. Fool-proof starting (set the lever and pull the rope a few times) and peak power at all times. I can feel/hear mine adjust itself in the cut in big wood....it's like it is able to reach for another gear and downshift when it starts to bog (which is presume is the saw dumping more fuel). The air filter never gets dirty...I tap mine out every 8 +/- tanks of fuel and there's barely any fine powder in there. The fuel useage, or lack thereof, is pretty impressive too. I really couldn't care less how much gas my saw uses because it isn't even a blip on the radar for $, but being able to cut a LOT of wood between fill-ups sure is nice.

I know a lot of people aren't fans of the M-Tronic or of the 362C, but I'm one satisfied customer. Just don't expect it to have power like a 70cc saw or be lightweight like a 40-50cc saw.

The Dealer said my saw is screaming. They did notice the top end miss. But they said that was just the mitronic down shifting. They said to run a few more tanks thru and see what happens. Everything checked out on the diagnostics. They said when the Stihl rep makes his spring visit I can bring it in and have him listen to it if I'm still concerned.
